I read this article a couple of weeks ago and thought it was hilarious. Why? Because I totally relate and you probably do too! Read it...

Get a Blog!
Well friends, this is a big day for me. We finally have a blog. Why the delay?
For years, my friends and family have been obsessed with blogging. I cringed at the phrase, "I read it on their blog." This turned me away from them from the start. In fact, I boycotted blogs for years. My friends would say, "You need to get a blog!" (You know who you are!) If I wanted people to know something, I posted it on Facebook. I didn't want more ways for people to stalk me... but after 3 years, I have given in to the world of blogging.
We didn't have much going on in our lives between school in Idaho and summer sales in Chicago. Now we are living in Florida and have a little more excitement.
I'll give a little update since we've had lots of change in the past few months...
Mike and I just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. Holy cow time has flown by. We've grown a lot, both individually and as a couple. He even watches Grey's Anatomy with me now!
We retired (or at least I hope so) from summer sales and moved on. We moved to Florida in October, just north of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Give us a call if you're in the area! Both of us are working at McDonald's. No really... we work at McDonald's. My family bought 6 McDonald's in Southern Florida a year ago. My brothers Clark & Chad also work with the business. Together, we help run and operate the stores and are training to become owners ourselves. I mostly work in the back office. Chad calls me his assistant... and if you know Chad, you'll think this is funny. We have a lot of fun working together. My little brother, Kirk, is going to school at Utah Valley University. He is a sophomore in college, which I honestly cannot believe because he is my baby brother.
I've been doing a lot of cooking & baking this year due to the massive amount of cooking blogs. I'll use my blog to post some of my favorite recipes. Mike has been concentrating on his fitness. After severing his Achilles tendon a year ago, he had to lay low for awhile. He is enjoying being fully recovered. He also spends a lot of time golfing. We had a lot of fun running together over the summer. I've been running outside a lot since we moved to FL. The weather is absolutely beautiful this time of year. Sorry for those of you who live in cold climates!
My next post will probably be about our new house! We close this Friday.
